Boral Timber's softwood manufacturing facility at Oberon NSW is operated through a joint venture with Carter Holt Harvey - Highland Pines Limited - processing more than 725,000m³ of plantation softwood annually. Boral Softwood structural products are sold nationally through Boral Timber and distributors.
Hardwood
Boral Timber's hardwood business operates 14 timber manufacturing plants in NSW, with sales and distribution centres in all major Australian cities. Boral Timber produces flooring and structural products for the new residential, renovations and commercial projects in Australia and the USA and exports small quantities of woodchips. |

New Wide Board Secret Fixing Procedure UnveiledWith the growing trend towards wider boards in both homes and commercial environments, Boral Timber has 108mm, 130mm and 180mm wide Uni-nail boards, available in a wide range of species. To complement the availability of wide boards, Boral Timber has introduced a new secret nailing installation process for the 108m and 130mm boards, which prevents the visible appearance of nail heads on a floor's surface and provides stability for wider boards.
